
The Stafford and Stone School Sport Partnership mission is to provide as many high quality opportunities and activities in “sport” to all young people of Stafford and Stone.
A key priority for the Stafford and Stone School Sport Partnership over the coming years will be "Active Lifestyles".
Active Lifestyles is a combination of a number of initiatives to help tackle Stafford and Stone's obesity problem through increasing the amount of sport and physical activity our least active young people undertake on a weekly basis.
Key areas of work in Stafford and Stone will focus on two main programmes:
Over the past seven years, the number of young people involved in High Quality Sports Volunteering and Leadership has increased each year. The Stafford and Stone School Sport Partnership will continue to work with leaders in some of the following areas:
School Games – officiating, managing, coaching etc

Delivering Competitive Sport for all Young People.
The Stafford and Stone School Sport Partnership strives to support and develop competitive opportunities for young people of all abilities. Access to regular and appropriate competitive sport is crucial to the development of every young person and we are determined to extend the breadth and depth of competition in every school.

The partnership will work together with local school sports associations, Stafford Borough Council, National Governing Bodies and the Youth Sport Trust to implement the new "School Games" to compliment all the outstanding competitions currently taking place.
